The employee in this senior manager position provides administrative oversight and direction to the Homeless Services unit which includes Single and Family Shelter Services programs. The employee is responsible for: 1) Coordinating the annual HUD SUPERNOFA Continuum of Care grant ($6 million) including coordinating the annual Point in Time survey; 2) Providing programmatic oversight of the Homeless Management Information System (electronic database) which is critical in providing accurate and up-to-date data on homeless services; 3) Coordinating adult and family homeless systems of care including monitoring program performance of 50+ County contracts; 4) Providing input and updates to the Special Needs housing Service Area Chief on major policy issues and operational decisions; 5) Resolving multiple programmatic and contractual issues in coordination with public and private partnering agencies; 6) Directing and supervising a staff of professional social workers.


Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years experience of progressively responsible professional experience in human (social) services. Equivalency Applies.
